Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre In Concert

Our annual mixed-repertory concert features a wide range of dance idioms, from classical to contemporary styles.  This season features Tchaikovsky's beautiful "Swan Lake Act II," the romantic white act of the dramatic ballet.  The return of Robert Kelley's dynamic "Pivot" to an original score by Jerome Begin for electrified harp and percussion  showcases our dancers' talents in the contemporary realm.  The much-anticipated return of guest choreographer Debra Pearse Rogo's neoclassic "Gaelicia" to music by the Chieftains rounds out the program.  Junior and Petite Companies will also perform a new piece by award-winning choreographer Robert Kelley.
