The release of SCBT's Film "The Santa Cruz Nutcracker: Clara's Dream" earned runner up in The Santa Cruz Sentinel Readers Choice for Best Virtual event of 2020.
2020 Holiday Season
“The Santa Cruz Nutcracker: Clara’s Dream” is a beautiful and creative interpretation of our favorite holiday tradition. SCBT produced the Nutcracker story told through our talented dancers and innovative choreography on film. SCBT featured many beautiful and iconic locations in Santa Cruz as a backdrop and includes archival footage of guest stars Melody Mennite and Lucien Postlewaite from our traditional staging. Soundtrack provided by our Nutcracker Orchestra conducted by Maestro Pamela Martin.
