Outreach to Seniors

For many years SCBT has provided complimentary performance tickets to local seniors so many can witness the magic of the Nutcracker through this program. In addition, Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre donates and delivers flower bouquets to senior citizens living in nursing homes and assisted living homes.

Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre dancers have presented lecture demonstrations at senior facilities, including class and pas de deux demonstrations and excerpts from performances in costume.  We are happy to bring our craft to those who are otherwise unable to attend performances.  If your facility is interested in inviting our dancers to perform for your residents, please contact our Administrative Assistant Sandra Nelson at (831) 477-1606 or sandy@scbt.org
